With pride we announce that iFLUX is awarded as most promising and innovative technology at the NICOLE’s Innovation Award 2017. During this forum we were able to present our project to a select audience of industry, environmental consultants and academics active in Sustainable Land Management in Europe. iFLUX received the prize of jury chairman Paul van Riet (Dow Chemical) and chair NICOLE Lucia Buvé (Umicore)
Early October, iFLUX was invited to Copenhagen at NICOLE's annual workshop on 'Groundwater Management on Contaminated Sites'. NICOLE is a leading forum on industrially co-ordinated sustainable land management in Europe, promoting co-operation between industry, academia and service providers on the development and application of sustainable technologies.
The overall objective of NICOLE is to pro-actively enable European industry to identify, assess and manage industrially contaminated land efficiently, cost-effectively, and within a framework of sustainability.
Traditionally, the Innovation Award is awarded every 2 years. Of a total of 15 submissions, iFLUX succeeded in convincing all present NICOLE members and the jury, represented by academics (Hans-Peter Koschitzky), industry (ISG chair and vice chairman Paul van Riet & Roger Jacquet) and environmental consultants (SPG chair and vice president, Rick Parkman & Phil Crowcroft) of our technology and winning the NICOLE Innovation Award 2017.
