We're thrilled to welcome Bashar Al-Barri to the iFLUX team as our new Project Manager for national and international projects. He owns a project from A to Z: from the kick-off meeting with different teams and stakeholders, through planning and coordination with field crews, to execution, follow-up, interpretation, final reporting, and advice. Along the way, he makes sure all of the client's questions are properly answered.
Bashar has lived in Ghent for fifteen years. He's a proud single dad who keeps challenging himself to keep learning and growing on different fronts. Music isn't a big passion of his just yet, but that's about to change: he's starting piano lessons soon. In his free time, he enjoys sports, running, and walking in nature.
As a bioengineer specialised in soil and water sciences and environmental technology, Bashar built up extensive experience in lab and fieldwork techniques, research, and projects. He spent years working at scientific institutions, companies, and national and international consultancies, serving private clients, governments, and major market players. Alongside this, he built up knowledge in sensor development, programming, telecommunications, and data processing: expertise he's looking forward to putting to use at iFLUX.
