During Antwerp Innovation Night, we won the AHA! Innovation Award in the 'Achieved' category. This award represents another important step in our mission to bring groundwater to the forefront of public and industrial consciousness.
Christian Montag had the honor of accepting the award on behalf of iFLUX. Christian: “But the real applause belongs to iFLUX founders Goedele Verreydt and Tim Op 't Eyndt. Without their brains and guts, we wouldn't have been standing on this stage.”
The jury's words captured the essence of what iFLUX stands for: "This company uses its innovative power to make visible what usually happens deep underground. They demonstrate that technological progress and care for a sustainable future can go hand in hand."
Groundwater is literally out of sight and, too often, out of mind. It flows silently beneath our cities, our industries, and our homes. Yet it's fundamental to our existence. At iFLUX, we've made it our mission to make this invisible resource visible, to provide the data and insights needed to manage it wisely.
Christian: "We're pleased that groundwater is getting the recognition it deserves. However, we are not the heroes in this story. The real heroes are the industrial companies, cities, drinking water companies, remediation consultants, construction clients... and all our customers. They're the ones making daily decisions to protect and sustainably manage groundwater resources."
Winning the award acknowledges this mission. It recognizes that innovation isn't just about creating new technology—it's about applying that technology to solve real-world challenges and protect our shared future.
